The recordings come from an orchestra of 120 university students, most of whom weren’t music majors. Any enrolled student could join by showing solid skills and a genuine interest in playing. The shared idea I learned from this group was simple: “there are no egos here.” What you hear reflects musicians who simply desire to make music-making part of their life.
